Sheep are the most frequently mentioned animal in the Bible. Bulls, oxen, cattle come in second. Depending upon the translation, horses may be in third place. Horses are definitely one of the most majestic of God's creations.
Dogs are mentioned over forty times. While lions are included over 140 times, domestic cats are not in the Bible at all.
